Imagine\u2026you\u2019ve just moved in and you can\u2019t wait to use your new bathroom. You get ready to use the shower, turn the fan on and you get wet! No not from the shower.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><br>This needs a bit of investigation! After checking the interior and exterior of the building, we find that the ducting for the extraction fan is missing a grille. Not only that, it was a very poor installation with nowhere for the grille to be secured. If it had a grille, chances are it would not have lasted long.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><br>With all of the rain we\u2019ve been having, this is a perfect recipe for disaster. An unprotected ducting along with some driving rain resulted in water penetration into the bathroom. Luckily, it was a straight forward fix. We rectified the gaps in the brickwork and installed a new grille.
